Thanks to everyone who came out to our Endless Summer Paradise contest including competitors from our WFL district who helped to add to the fun and success of a great day of competitive surfing!

Here’s an awesome opportunity to be a sponsor at the 2014 ESA SE Regional Championships
Get On Board – Let all your surf community know you support them! This is a tremendous way to find folks who will support you in return!
This is a 3-day event with competitors from all districts in Florida & Georgia! Great exposure!
the 2014 ESA SE Regional Surfing Championships is now open for registration
Deadline is February 24, 2014
See the sheets below, which explain how many slots are guaranteed by division and by district.
ex. Menehune is “5” for CFL (Central Florida) which means the top 5 menehune surfers from CFL are slotted. Does this mean you can’t surf? No! If you want to compete in Regionals and don’t have a guaranteed slot, but you qualify as an alternate (which means you surfed the minimum amount of season events and your membership is current through 9/30/14) we urge you to register for your division(s) as an alternate. In our experience, you will probably get in. This is due, in part, to the fact some some surfers from other districts, or even our own, may not be able to attend. In this situation, registered alternates will be considered to surf at regionals. The worst case scenario, if you don’t get in, you will get a full refund of your registration fee after regionals. It’s a good insurance policy, if you will. We want as many of our CFL surfers to attend and show them what we’re made of! We are proud to be the hosting the SE Regionals this year and we are are excited to showcase our talents to the region! This definitely applies to everyone! Make sure your membership is current thru 9/30/14 or your registration will not be accepted! To renew membership go here.
If your name is in blue, your membership had issues. Many of you took care of this and we thank you. Please disregard the blue if you recently updated your membership. This is each members responsibility and if you’re not sure, notify ESA Headquarters here. If you want to download a full registration and membership packet to be mailed-in click here for forms.
Final 2013 Season Point Standings pending current membership. Please Review your points. If you see your name highlighted in blue – you have membership issues. If you want your points to count for qualification for the 2014 SE Regional Championships, USA Surfing America National Championships, or 2013 Easterns – your membership must be current before regionals. If you wish to compete at either the USA Surfing America Championships or the Easterns -you must have your membership current and you must compete at the 2014 SE Regional Championships. To renew membership click here – The following sheets show ranking by division and reflect qualifying members only. This means that some competitors who surfed with us this season may not have surfed enough events. In this case, their names have been omitted for the purposes of creating a recap of qualified surfers as it pertains to Regionals. Note – Some of you surfed with us this season and may have your “home district” noted as another district other than Central Florida. If you intend to use Central Florida Points to qualify, be sure to clear this issue up ASAP – click here to contact ESA Headquarters and send your concern to them to get this cleared up ASAP. We have tallied points to the best of our knowledge and ability (sorry for the delay – our old computer crashed over the holidays!) If you notice a discrepancy, notify us and we will look into the matter and correct if and as needed. We want to thank all of our competitors, their families, our sponsors and supporters for a great 2013 season. Our directors work hard as volunteers to keep the local stoke alive and well in our community and we are as great as our members help make us. An additional thanks to our regular judges Barry, Dan, Brandon, Jess, and of course our fantastic head judge Chip Hall. The level of professionalism for our local surf organization is amazing and we think it surpasses many of the larger regional competitions, don’t you think? A special “shout out” to the new Polliwogs and their assistants – what a great job all you groms did this season. Boy are you in for a lifetime of healthy fun as an East Coast surfer and we are so happy you surfed with us this season. Keep in mind that this division is a “fun division” only, as is Open Longboard. You have done great this year and your ranking counts at our local level but not at the regional or Easterns level. We hope to have an end of season get together before the end of March so stay tuned! Until then… Right Coast – Right Now

Entries received after this date, as well as those signing up on the beach, will be subject to $20 “beach-entry” fee. Thanks to all of you who took advantage of our online registration in July and to those who got your entries in early!
